“Breathe & Battle” is an academic quiz competition designed to assess knowledge, clinical reasoning, analytical skills, and awareness of recent advances in Pulmonary Medicine and allied specialties.
The quiz will be conducted as part of the 4th Bronchopulmonary World Congress 2026 (BWC 2026).
1. Eligibility Criteria
Participation is open to:
• Postgraduate (PG) students • Senior Residents • Candidates from Pulmonary Medicine and allied specialties
2. Team Composition
• Each team must consist of 2 participants • Individual participation is not permitted • A maximum of 25–30 teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
3. Registration Process
To participate in the quiz:
• Register for the Conference/Workshop of BWC 2026 • Complete the Quiz Registration Form • Submit participant details as instructed on the official website • Await confirmation from the Organizing Committee
Important Note
• Conference/Workshop registration is mandatory for quiz participation
• Quiz registration will be considered valid only after conference registration confirmation
4. Quiz Schedule
Dates: 4–5 July 2026 Venue: Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India
• 3–4 rounds • All registered teams will participate • Top-performing teams will qualify for the Semi-Final Round
Semi-Final Round
• 2 rounds • Top 4 teams will qualify for the Grand Finale
Day 2 – 5 July 2026
Grand Finale Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Final round among the 4 shortlisted teams • Winners will be decided based on the highest cumulative score
6. Quiz Topics
Questions may include topics related to:
• Pulmonary Medicine • Critical Care Medicine • Respiratory Physiology • Thoracic Imaging • Interventional Pulmonology • Sleep Medicine • Infectious Diseases • Recent Guidelines and Landmark Trials • Clinical Case-Based Scenarios • General Medical Knowledge relevant to Respiratory Medicine
7. Rules & Regulations
• Participants must report to the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time • Use of mobile phones, smart devices, books, or any external assistance during the quiz is strictly prohibited • Any misconduct or use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification • Decisions of the Quiz Masters and Organizing Committee shall be final and binding • Organizers reserve the right to modify the quiz structure, rules, or schedule if required
Certificates will be provided to finalists and participants as applicable.
